With chemical fertilizers in particular, you should never overdo it with fertilization. Sometimes less is more. Be sure to pay attention to the dosage advice on the back of the pack. It is better to fertilize once more with a small dose than too rarely with a large portion of fertilizer.

If you have fertilized too much, then many strong leaves appear on the tomato plant, but the growth of the fruits remains.

" The right time

Fertilization is actually like watering. It is best to fertilize early in the morning when the sun is not yet so bright. When it is too hot, not only the leaves burn, but also the roots when the soil is dry. That would be the end of the tomato season.
