Smoothies are very healthy in themselves. With kiwifruit, however, they become true vitamin bombs. And the good thing: they are prepared in no time. Because for many of us it is difficult, as recommended, to eat fruit or vegetables five times a day. It is easier if you put everything in the blender or chop it up with a hand blender because you will have the daily vitamin bomb ready in no time. But which fruits are actually suitable for smoothies?
In principle, you can put everything you want in the mixer. Kiwis are suitable e.g. Fantastic for a delicious drink, as they contain a variety of healthy nutrients and also combine with the most diverse fruits in terms of taste. Particularly tasty are Combinations with apples, pineapples, bananas and strawberries. But fruit and vegetable combinations also taste great. Convince yourself and try the recipes below.
❶ Kiwi smoothie with yogurt
- 2 ripe kiwi fruits
- 300 g green grapes without seeds
- 2 tbsp juice of a lemon
- 2 tbsp acacia honey
- 400 g 1.5% yogurt
- 12 ice cubes
First peel the kiwifruit and cut it into slices. Then wash the grapes, put some aside for the garnish, halve and puree the others and then pass through a sieve. Then puree all the ingredients together, fill in glasses and garnish with kiwi slices and grapes as you wish and serve immediately.
Since an enzyme in the kiwi releases bitter substances in the yoghurt, you must drink the smoothie immediately or steam the fruits beforehand. Otherwise, you can also use a few candied kiwis.
❷ Kiwi smoothie with grape juice
- 3 ripe kiwi fruits
- 1.5 bananas
- 200 ml white grape juice
- 2 tbsp juice of a lime
- 100 g of crushed ice
Peel the kiwis and bananas, cut them into pieces that are not too small and puree them in the blender with the other ingredients. Finished!
❸ Kiwi and vegetable smoothie
- 2 ripe kiwi fruits
- 1 banana
- 2 tbsp juice of a freshly squeezed lime
- 1 medium-sized cucumber without peel
- 20 g celery green
- 20 g fresh spinach
- 180 ml water
After peeling, cut the cucumber, banana and kiwis into slices, clean the celery and spinach and puree them together in the blender. Then puree again with the addition of the lime juice and serve topped up with water.
❹ Kiwi smoothie with coconut milk
- 1/2 slice of pineapple
- 1 kiwi
- 2 tbsp ice-cold coconut milk
- 1 tbsp passion fruit syrup
- crushed ice
Cut the pineapple and the peeled kiwi into small cubes, mix with the coconut milk and passion fruit syrup and then mix again with the ice. Then pour into a glass and enjoy.
