Green smoothies with chard: 5 tasty recipes presented

Green smoothies are very healthy If you like eating fruits and vegetables, you will love smoothies. They are prepared in no time and also taste really great. On top of that, they are of course very healthy. Since all ingredients are mixed raw, the green smoothies in particular contain many vitamins, minerals, trace elements, antioxidants and fiber.

And best of all: you can put everything you want in the blender! So you can e.g. Create delicious ginger smoothies or make delicious peach smoothies yourself.

However, if you want to prepare green smoothies, you should use the chard. The leaves of the Swiss chard promise a particularly intense green color and are therefore perfect for green smoothies. They also have a very special taste. So turn on the mixer and off you go!

❶ Green Hawaii

Ingredients:

  • 150 g canned pineapple
  • 1 banana
  • 1 handful of chard
  • 1 stick of celery
  • 1/3 cucumber
  • water

Preparation:

First wash the ingredients and cut them into small pieces. Then puree the chard with water in a blender. Then fill in the remaining ingredients. Mix again until a slightly creamy consistency is formed. The preparation time is about 5 to 6 minutes.

❷ Breakfast smoothie with chard

Ingredients:

  • 1 handful of chard
  • 1 banana
  • 150 ml water

Preparation:

Clean the chard leaves and put them in the blender. Then peel the banana and add it to the blender. Top up with 150 ml of water and puree at the highest level. Finished!

❸ Green summer dream

Ingredients:

  • 1 handful of Swiss chard
  • 1 handful of basil
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 banana
  • 1 pear
  • 1 nectarine
  • 2 large plums
  • the peel of a lemon
  • 500 ml water
  • almond slices

Preparation:

Wash the chard and add the basil, cucumber and 150 ml water to the blender. Puree at the highest level so that all leaf fibers also break open. Now stop the blender and add all other ingredients. Pour in the remaining water and mix again. The smoothie should have a creamy consistency. If you like, you can sprinkle almond slices on top.

❹ Swiss chard smoothie with ginger and pomegranate

Ingredients:

  • 1 handful of chard
  • 2 handfuls of arugula
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1 pear
  • 1 banana
  • 2 avocado
  • 1 pomegranate
  • 1 finger-sized piece of ginger
  • 1/4 lemon
  • water
  • fresh rosemary

Preparation:

Wash the chard and arugula and crush the whole thing with water and the pomegranate seeds in a blender at high speed. Now stop the blender and add all other ingredients. Add the 1/4 lemon complete with the peel and also chop. To achieve an optimal consistency, gradually add water. The avocado otherwise makes the binding too tight. Then fill the smoothie into glasses and e.g. Garnish with rosemary.

❺ Power smoothie with chard

Ingredients:

  • 1 stick of celery
  • 1 handful of chard
  • some arugula
  • 1/3 cucumber
  • 1 banana
  • 1 apple
  • 1 orange
  • linseed
  • water

Preparation:

First clean the vegetables and fruit thoroughly and chop them so that everything fits well in the blender. Then put the chard and celery in the blender and chop with a little water. When the leaf green has been crushed, stop the blender and fill with the other ingredients. Puree everything at a lower speed and then at full power. Since there are a lot of ingredients, check from time to time whether everything is really crushed. Then fill into glasses and enjoy the power drink.
